Insights using psychometric assessment
Psychometric assessments can be used to provide insights into employees as part of recruitment, leadership assessment, succession planning, leadership development and talent initiatives. Whether to support individual, team or leader development, I use a range of robust assessments to directly inform development solutions.
Psychometric feedback and insight tools are beneficial for managers and leaders to help them develop self-awareness about their leadership and management style. The more managers know about themselves, the better they are at adapting and managing their teams.

Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire
Emotional intelligence is vital now for leaders in the workplace where we are facing various challenges across teams and organisations, including: unprecedented change, heightened stress and anxiety, remoteness, isolation and disconnectedness. Emotional intelligence is focused on using emotional information in a meaningful way. It is important for leaders and managers to understand and manage their emotions and for those around them. Emotional intelligence skills can be learned and developed as people develop in their careers.
Leaders can benefit from one-to-one exploration and coaching around their emotional intelligence and how this plays out in how they lead their teams. The EQ-i 2.0 questionnaire measures five key aspects of emotional intelligence: self-perception, self-expression, interpersonal relationships, decision making and stress management.
Psychological Safety Questionnaire
In psychologically safe teams, members feel accepted and respected for who they are and the unique value that they bring. Identifying your current levels of psychological safety will help to increase awareness, allowing teams to develop and foster collaboration. Psychological safety is a precursor to adaptive performance which is vital in today’s rapidly changing work environment.
Team-effectiveness initiatives are great for building high performing teams, particularly during times of unforeseen change and hybrid working. Managers can benefit from getting their teams together to complete the Psychological Safety questionnaire to assess how people feel when working within their team. It measures the extent to which people feel included and how safe they feel to take interpersonal risks. Using this questionnaire in a team effective initiative can build trust, connectivity, morale, productivity and facilitate change.
